Let's go into the woman charged with attempted murder, or should I say, unaliving, after firing AR at Rihanna's LA home. Uh, this comes from Yahoo Entertainment. Uh, let's get started. Let's get right into it, y'all. A Florida woman has been charged with attempted unaliving after police said she fired multiple rounds towards Rihanna's Los Angeles area home. Investigators said the singer and her family were inside at the time, but no one was injured. Authorities identified the suspect as Ibana Ortiz, age 35 of Orlando. Police said she drove to the entrance of the Beverly Hills area property Sunday afternoon and fired several shots from inside her vehicle toward the gated residence. Police arrested Ortiz shortly afterward, and is now she is now being held with a$10 million bomb. Uh, the police say the fire uh AR struck the gate. The shooting occurred shortly after 1 15 p.m. Sunday in the uh Beverly Crest neighborhood. Investigators said Ortiz fired multiple rounds towards the property's front gate. Bullets struck the gate, and a vehicle parked inside the driveway. Rihanna was home with her partner, uh rapper ASAP Rocky and their three children at the time. That's important because some people were saying he wasn't there and was there, so we getting word that everybody was there. Um suspect was arrested. Police said Ortiz left the area immediately after the shooting. Officers later located a vehicle matching a description in Sherman Oaks, several miles from the residence. They conducted a traffic stop in the shopping center parking lot and took her into custody without incident. Investigators said they recovered an AR-15-style rifle and shell cases from the vehicle. Authorities have not announced a motive. Social media posts under review. The LA Times reported that Ortiz had posted messages about Rihanna on social media in the weeks before the shooting. Posts reviewed by reporters included comments directed at the singer and a meme alleging she had AIDS. Investigators have not said whether those posts factored into the shooting or not. Public records show Ortiz had prior arrests in Florida, including a 2023 arrest related to domestic violence. Rihanna has faced a previous security incident uh at her Los Angeles uh residence. Uh at a Los Angeles residence. In 2018, a man broke into her Hollywood home and remained inside for hours before being discovered by staff. He later pleaded no contest. Now, as far as what took place on Sunday, investigation continues. So they still investigating it. Um, and of course, social media, there are wild theories going around. Um, there are a lot of ironic uh uh uh details uh with this situation. One of the uh our ironic details is this the lady who's supposed to be uh the lady who's held Bond, uh, or uh what is her name? Ivana. She uh was in some type of lawsuit with Live Nation, which of course is over Rock Nation, yeah, which is like very like uh coincidence, you know, that's a big coincidence. Um and of course, people uh there's a viral theory going around that people believe Jay Z could have something to do with it because Rihanna would be a material witness in the Epstein situation, and of course they're trying to press Jay-Z to testify, and who knows what's going on behind the scenes with that. Um what I would say is I don't know exactly what it is, but I know it's deeper than some 30-year-old woman pulling up dolo, firing 10 plus AR-15 shots. That's just that that just unless you ain't never shot an AR-15 before or know anything about it. If you have, you know it just it just ain't like that. Like it's it's training involved, is you know, and it as much as they paint how crazy she is, ain't too many crazy motherfuckers uh firing off AR-15s and hitting from that distance. So I just feel like it is something deeper. I wouldn't be surprised if it's something deeper, and I wouldn't be surprised. How do we know for sure? Because now they're saying it's pop possible accomplices, but I said that in the beginning. Yeah. So this is it. Live nation, rock nation. They end up having to make a settlement with the DOJ over something that had to do with Ticketmaster. They done did they did something. Uh, what is matter of fact, I'm gonna pull it up straight on chat, GBT. I'm gonna see what it what what what because it it's it's what uh issue does rock nation slash live nation have with the DOJ where they had to make a settlement recently. What is the issue? It could be something with this. That's what I'm trying. I'm trying to bring up the exact like what it was. I was looking at it yesterday when I made my post. Uh okay, here it is. The U.S. Department of Justice recently reached a tentative settlement with Live Nation, the parent company of Ticketmaster, and a major antitrust monopoly lawsuit. The issue has nothing to do with Rock Nation specifically, but the case is about Live Nation's dominance in the live concert and ticketing industry. Now, the thing is, Rock Nation has a 50-50 partnership with Live Nation. So that that would be their, you know, so they all are connected, even if it's indirectly. So they're saying that in 2024, the DOJ in 40 states sued Live Nation and Ticketmaster, accusing them of illegally monopolizing the live entertainment industry. Uh, and they're talking about concert promotion, venue ownership, artist tours, ticket sales. Now, if you go back to what Nikki Minaj was saying, she had a lot had a similar lawsuit or a similar gripe with Rock Nation about them stealing her money and stuff.
