It's a McKenzie Sherilla murder conviction and Strongsville Crash, the focus of new Netflix documentary. And I I started watching it last night. I'm halfway through it. I'm like, I'm like, yeah, the basketball was kind of more important, but yeah. It's a northeast Ohio case is now the subject of a Netflix documentary examining the 2022 high high-speed crash in Strongsville that killed two teenagers and led to a murder conviction for the driver, Mackenzie Sherilla. The crash killed 19-year-old Davion Flanagan, who was a recent high school graduate, and Sherilla's boyfriend, 20-year-old Dominic Russo. Cherilla was 17 at the time of the accident on July 31st, 2022. She was convicted on two counts of murder and multiple related charges in 2023. Prosecutors said she intentionally accelerated her vehicle to 100 miles per hour and crashed into the brick building and high and crashed into a brick building in Strongsville. So, like, and that and that's what they were saying, like kind of in the documentary too. There was like it wasn't no skid marks or nothing to like make it even seem like I like she just floored that motherfucker like purposely.

It's a uh investigators used vehicle the vehicle black box data to conclude Cyrilla pressed the accelerator to full throttle and did not break before impact, according to court testimony presented during trial. It says jurors found her guilty on 12 counts. Revisits the case and includes prison interviews with Sherilla, who maintains the crash was not intentional. It says, anywhere, anyone can see there's no intent, Sherilla said in the interview. Sherilla maintains she has no memory of the crash, stating, I have no recollection of that morning, she said. I have no recollection of that mourner, but I know it wasn't intentional, she said a second time. She said, She said, She just, I just want to say my truth, she said. I'm not, I'm not a monster, I'm not a murderer. But what the fuck do you call that shit? And this says, Sherilla described her relationship with Dom as young, love, and rocky, but good. Sherilla's attorneys have continued to appeal her conviction, though courts have upheld the verdict. Crazy work. Let me see. Her mom and dad.
